Babes in the Woods was created by outdoors enthusiast and adventurer, Jen Lewin.
A professional musician and music educator for over twenty years, Jen has always had a love for camping, hiking, and all things nature-related. Returning to school as a mature student in 2017 to work toward a psychology degree, Jen began to feel a disconnect between her educational goals and her passion for the outdoors until she realized she doesn't need to sit in a wingback chair with Kleenex handy in order to help people realize their potential and achieve more than they
thought they could. And thus, Babes in the Woods was born.
Besides a ton of day hikes, past big objectives include:
West Coast Trail (solo) in 2022
Lake O'Hara in Yoho National Park in 2023
Walcott Quarry/Burgess Shales in Yoho National Park in 2023
Mount Assiniboine (solo) in 2024
Glacier National Park, Montana (solo) in 2024
